Aftertaste is a social platform designed to discover, review, and discuss content—algorithm-free.

I was privileged to create this app’s brand guidelines alongside its founders. Together, we distilled Aftertaste's identity into tangible elements to capture potential investors' imagination. This involved shaping brand pillars and defining a voice that would resonate across all visual assets.

Taking cues from the allure of old Hollywood, Aftertaste's brand narrative combines vintage glamour with a modern edge. Bold typography reminiscent of classic movie marquees meets textured imagery akin to newspaper clippings.

By curating visuals that evoke nostalgia and shared experiences, I aimed to create a platform where users could find common ground amidst their diverse media interests.
